Remember you don't plant a stone fruit tree for you, you plant it for your children. Take years to get really good. My father in law has a plum tree approaching 65 years old at a conservative guess and goddamn i love the plums off that tree. Santa Rosa variety. accept no substitutes. I just have to beat the cockatoos each year because those feathered fuckers are merciless. Interestingly he used to keep an almond orchard and some of those tree have been going since the 1950's. One got trimmed back heavily with a chainsaw to make more room for a driveway and has a total new lease on life.

Doesn’t take much… Literally a sunny window or two, but if you have a small yard, there’s really no reason excuses. It’s fun, healthy and good for you and the earth. Plus it’s a big fuck you to the fucked you to the agriculture industry and allows you to be a bit more resilient and independent. Just posted in my off grid thread, but a couple dollars from the local hardware store for decent non-GMO / heritage seeds or a small investment with https://rareseeds.com will go a long way. Once you get started, it’s rewarding and mostly self sustaining with very little cost, if any.

Tails0nE
So I have two pictures to share.. first one is what my coffee table was looking like the other day.. I bought thay Seth Rogan ashtray set and it came with a vase that ive never used.. since im in the new spot I figured let me put something in there why not.. so I ended up getting some carnations cause they stood out and reminded me of someone.. Then my dumbass knocked it over the next day and broke the fucking thing... 😒 so I bought another set.. for now.. they're sitting in a deli.. 🤷🏽♂️ Also, more importantly, any recommendations for plants for an apartment? I smoke weed pretty regularly so I seen some random plant things online about certain plants helping prevent dust, help the air quality and such but I'm a super n00b in this regard..

Snake plant or mother in laws tongue sansaviera, would be the easiest. Peace lily or Swiss cheese plant also good. Swiss cheese can get big. I really like foxtail ferns, but never grown one inside. But it may be possible, or if you have a balcony.

SMdoubleXL
This is all my houseplants (everyone moves out for the summer) and patio plants. I started the morning glories in the corner for a privacy screen from my dear neighbors window. (Plus it was a very cheap and effortless project). I just threw a pack of seeds in some wet soil and left it. They create an awesome growth pattern if you let them do their thing and I want them to take over this area.
