Deine Mudder Posted February 22, 2022 Share Posted February 22, 2022 Yea, absolutely @KILZ FILLZ I think I mentioned before a lot of the Mercedes vans are former police / ambulance / etc. wagons - there were just a lot of them here in Berlin (or in Germany in general I guess) - it's a lot of these, basically: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_T2 They're easy to convert, and they're set up really simple / are reliable / if something brakes you can probably fix it yourself. And they're affordable. And the VW's I think were just really popular as a familiy vacation kinda van, they were more small / more swift to drive, and more aimed at leasure (although these types were also used as work vehicles).
