Won't say a lot here but it's one of those clickbaitish type stories you see online like 'you could live on this remote island for free- but there's a catch' type shit. I couldn't see her until we were 20' apart. She did some huffs and stomps so I stepped back a bit and she relaxed. As she left I saw she had a small cub with her. I ran into her later on my way back. She gave me a huff and I found a comfortable distance and chilled with them while she nursed this cub and then it played in the tree. The ducks are their own crew and rarely integrate. They act like a hive mind and when one does something, they all follow. Chickens sort of just wander and mostly ignore each other, beyond the competitiveness amongst the roosters. At the end of the day they line up at this grassy hill and take off into the trees.
