Fitting as it is, the bar used to be a pierogi factory which still has the old Polish sign outside the door. on another note, Stella crushed Kronenbourg due to recognition. MrChupacabra Posted August 17, 2009 Share Posted August 17, 2009 Finally came across some bottles of Stone's Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout Incredibly dark and completely opaque, with no light coming through it at all. Strong coffee smell as well as taste, with the unsweetened, bitter chocolate taste coming through towards the end of the sip and on the aftertaste. Surprisingly smooth/easy to drink for a thick 9.2% ABV stout. I'm a fan, but it is definitely not for everyone. I might have to pick up a few more bottles and let them age for awhile, but i have a lot of trouble letting good beer sit around for long without drinking it.
