Every mook from the city was down town ready to start trouble. Seen dude empty the beer fridge like if it was they own, poor store owners. My friend kept complaining saying nobody was gonna riot so he convinced me to go to the AZ show.. Little did we know that while we where paying 20$ to see what was possibly the worst show iv seen in a long time , people where running in to the liquor stores and foot locker on some smash and grab shit. Not the one to riot.. but it would of made epic flicks.. oh well.. Pronoters fucked up booking this guy during playoffs... place was empty! Wall finally getting together.. More.. IOU Posted May 20, 2010 Share Posted May 20, 2010 So I decided to check out Roky Erickson Tuesday night.. Dinner. T'was good. Fuel. It had been drizzling/raining all day long. Sky just before leaving for the show. Decided it was good time to hit up this Hollywood landmark. It's a cool spot for where it is. Prices were decent which surprised me. Went to go flick a mural that Retna, Kofie and El Mac did. Shit was already buffed and it was fucking huge. So I drank the pain away. Ticket to greatness., Just before Roky and company took the stage. i have no idea how I got there just in time. I had gone back to the bar for a couple and wasn't even thinking about the time. This was pretty much how dude spent the whole show. It was like he needed to keep eye contact with the band members over there. Going home. The show was bad ass. Dude is the truth even in his later years. Pretty much just played song after song.. All the ones he is known for which was cool. The crowd got to sing along with a lot the songs. I'm glad they changed the venue to the Music Box. Smaller location with really good sound. More about sounding clean than loud.
