yeah i want to do a full like 3 week tour when i go. thats why ive been waiting. my family usually goes over every year (well the older members) in August for the big feast.

 

what part of the country?

venice is ok. the fact there are so, so many tourists can get annoying. it's an expensive city as well, by italian terms. and the whole city stinks of shit.

Fresh little tomatoes from Sicily (bought from our tomato man who rocks a Greasy pony tail)

Fresh mozza cheese

Fresh basil

Olive oil

Balsamic vineGar

Um....oh truffle mushroom pate.just a little

and I think that was it.

Mmmm Tuna!

We are having a BBQ tonite..mmmm.

 

I have zero desire to 6o to Venice..maybe when I come back to Italy in December..Rome is annoying enough with all the tourists crawling around. Luckily they usually aren't around my area.

 

rome gets hot as hell in the summer. thats why i liked Florence and Venice more, nicer temp.

The commercial fishermen I talked to said that tuna was worth over ten grand in Australia, and over 30 grand in Japan. It was an unbelievably well conditioned fish. there was more fat running through that fish than you would believe

okay so not a flip recipe but um... toasted coconut crusted shrimp with chili garlic okra, home made bruschetta and bibinka for dessert.

but anyone got a nice chicken cordon bleu variation recipe?

i usually roll with marinated chicken,prosciutto, and i switch up the cheese.

and a sesame seed crust.

 

someone hook it.

 

or any ill boneless pork marinades..
