If you don't already have a visa or are planning on going on a traveler's visa most english teaching companies require you to have a four year degree in anything to give you a visa.

 

 

This is mainly a problem for Americans and people from other countries who only get a 3 month traveler's visa. Fucking Australians get a year.

you can only get a 3 month tourist visa tops with as many out of country renewals as the customs agents allow

distribution is considered a big problem in japan due to the mass amount of middle men and their hold on most commodities. the consumers suffer.

 

but in terms of cool goods there are alot of small stores that i'm sure you could buy from directly and ship to your country. If you are talking huge amount such as 20 ft container huge, make sure you check with the department of commerce in your own country to see if there are tariffs or quotas. especially for electronics, toys, clothes, objects made from wood.

each club has its own party really but i wouldnt say theres anything spectacular like a countdown

i'm not the best person to ask about tokyo nightlife though. personally i like shibuya harajuku

but some places actually have a no foreignor rule and you cant get in unless you have a jp escort. quite the bullshit.

Edit: and as for nightclubs and bars, they vary from place to place. Shibuya and roppongi have all the "normal clubs" where it doesn't cost much to get in and you can act like an idiot and no one cares because they're all acting like idiots too. If you want a little more high class, I'd go to Omotesando or Aoyama. Shibuya does have a few nice places, but they're a little bit harder to find.

 

I never had any problems getting into nightspots.

if you talking bout dem hoes, just walk down the main drag in roppongi you'll be accosted by thousands of nigerians trying to get you into their stripclubs. also there's a lot of chinese working girls trying to find johns. don't pay for anything on card, obviously.

personally I preferred shibuya/komaba/ikejiri-ohashi area to go out in, although I lived walking distance from there so not having to get a cab was probably heavily biasing my opinion on that.

I've been to most places in Asia and each country is pretty awesome in it's own way (except Singapore), the thing is though if you're wanting to party and take drugs I wouldn't go anywhere in Asia.
