penmanship
Re: Great Pictures~ I know how to set up my shutter speed to make pics like that Red one, but i could never understand or know how to maintain focus on some of the things, like that person in the bottom. If i take a pic like that, any moving objects will be blurry. All i can think of is the shutter speed was set to a low number, while the moving object was moving fast, still wondering what that moving object is. i dont think its a car. Edit* oh, now i realize it was in the snow. still dont think its a vehicle of some sort. skiiers/snowboarders with flares. they do it all the time here for the olympics and stuff. every night last year for two and a half weeks. All i can think of is the shutter speed was set to a low number, while the moving object was moving fast, still wondering what that moving object is. The person was just standing still. Of course you could use flash in the foreground to catch a moving target but that'd create a very different mood.

T4M*
Re: Great Pictures~ On my camera, its the Twilight Portrait that does that effect with the flash and Shutter speed Setting. Taking pictures without the flash is challenging, that is why that pic is a great pic.
