Ralfi Pagan (1947 - 1978) was a Bronx, New York based 'Latin soul' and salsa singer of Puerto Rican parentage who was active from the late 1960s to the mid 70s. He specialised in soul ballads sung in Spanish and English and released five albums during the 1970s. He is best known for a duet with Sylvia entitled 'Soul Je'Taime'and for his solo reworking of 'Make It With You' previously recorded by David Gates and Bread. On a tour of South America whilst visiting Colombia he was murdered.

In the beginning was the word; before the beginning, in the beginningless infinite neverendingness, was the essence. Both the word "god" and the essence of the word, are emptiness. The form of emptiness which is emptiness having taken the form of form, is what you see and hear and feel right now, and what you taste and smell and think as you read this. She is a sister ship to MSC Musica, MSC Orchestra, and the upcoming MSC Magnifica. She is the first ship in the MSC Cruises fleet to be officially named outside of Italy, at the Port of Dover, Kent on April 5, 2008 by Sophia Loren.

MSC Poesia was the flagship of the company until she was displaced by MSC Fantasia, which entered service in December 2008.
