i-tunes question so i updated to apples newest whatever... and now my playlist has almost doubled in length as i have 2 of most of the songs, wma and mp3 or whatever. i don't know what this means, but is there any way i can easily select only one of the file types to transfer to my ipod instead of having doubles filling it up?

nah, i haven't. 40 more reasons, picnic, and it gets worse are really the only discs i've ever heard. i think i like the idea of the band, i just can't get into it

haha. i've never seen that collection. i love it, but thats probably not even 1 percent of that style of logo.

i feel like i should contribute to this whole album sharing thing being that i own around 600 discs... but i'm just internerd illiterate and thus... i probably won't.

i like most of your list.... but anal cunt? do people actually like this band? i mean, i have had multiple lengthy conversations of going back and forth with their song titles... but i can only listen to about 1/2 of one of their songs before i'm annoyed (5.7 seconds...) just wondering.

unhallowed is a really strong album, lyrically and musically its their peak release. miasma was cool musically, and he did some pretty good stuff vocally, but the new one is a pretty big disappointment in comparison with their previous albums. i've been listening to dark tranquillity all day. this band... so good. each album is significantly different, yet each one is spectacular. the production values have also vastly improved since their early years. money....

haha. i don't think i have any friends that don't like metal, but i have dated girls that don't like it on the whole, but i've always been able to sway them with blind guardian/demons and wizards, helloween, edguy/avantasia; in general bands of an easier to listen to style... rhapsody even.

fuck that. plenty of us Americans drink real beer. i will take the insult though, as the majority of Americans do drink bottled piss, i take pride in my efforts to convert people into appreciators of beer with flavor. you guys put out plenty of shit beer too and i know we export that shit to you fuckers, so you guys are consuming urine too. moot argument towards superiority.

tragically not all metal is... lots of metal is really shitty, death and black are actually quite full of 2 steps past punk musicians also, lots of modern metal takes into account jazz theory as well as classical as far as the general populace's attack on aggressive vocals... okay. if you don't like it, don't listen to it, don't come to our shows, we don't like you any ways. i'm not stressed on "converting" someone to "see the light" of screaming/yelling/growling, you like it or you don't, and well in the words of ManOwaR "if you're not into metal YOU ARE NOT MY FRIEND"

nobody has to respect anything. an appreciation for technical music is not something simply present in people. its often too chaotic or complex for their simple minds to understand... INSOMNIUM having a hard time finding the album (not mailorder) but these guys are pretty fucking cool, if you're into the melo-death/gothenburg type.
