Also, it contains "With or Without You", which is enough because it is the best song in the universe. http://www.realtimeinfo.co.uk/beats/beatsimages/Product/packshot-1.jpg'> Artist: People Under the Stairs Album: Question in the Form of an Answer Genre: Hip Hop Year Released: 2000 Best Track: Blowin' Wax Best Use: BBQ/outdoor activities, majorly stoned headbobbing, reaching for your 12th beer Why: These guys have an uncanny ability to produce the most perfect laidback beats I've ever heard, with a very distinct organic feel and awesome obscure samples. Nothing staggeringly innovative, just really well handcrafted. The perfect 40-and-a-blunt album. http://www.kompaktkiste.de/cd/fim/pc53cd.jpg'> Artist: Panacea Album: German Engineering Genre: Drum n' Bass Year Released: 2001 Best Track: German Engineering (title track) Best Use: Driving Ferraris, unloading Hellfire cannons on innocent children, baking cookies Why: Panacea is a fucking demon and his music proves as such. This is my #1 choice album for whenever I need to get insanely pumped up for any reason. The guy is a master craftsman of sound layering, and just when you think a song can't get any denser or harder, he flattens your face with a sonic sledgehammer of drums and noise. And STILL, it's club-friendly.

Refused reclaim the right to rage, rant, and innovate. It's a ballsy move to claim you're reinventing a musical genre that has been slogging along quite happily for more than two decades, but the Refused back up their chutzpah with an absolutely awe-inspiring and fearless slab of musical mayhem. Thanks for sticking to the format! and my sublime disc has no case, and it skips from overuse... but I love it no matter what it's called. Best Use: DANCING!!! Driving very fast. Why: Hawtin took something like 300 samples from a single sound up to four bars. he hacked the shit out of them and re-arange the whole mess into this brilliant concept album. It kind of sounds like 'minimal-tech-dub' but it's so good to dance to. It's such a driving rhythm that you need to play it superloud on quality headphones on in a car (with amps) to really make it work. It's probably my favorite 'electronic over 125bpm' album ever.
