RALPH LAUREN Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 i agree with fat ralph, i felt the cards too. but they got so far on shuffling bullpen guys and it seems like their starters couldn't "last" except of course against the phillies when carpenter looked like cy young due too our old impotent withering bats... but that pitching/bullpen factor is what made me choose texas, and then the thought if texas doesn't win in 6, then they dont win... that home field is huge, and so are the bats... this first game is not how the series will play out trust me... I was working and watching the game and this bitch was sitting at my bar with a Cards shirt on and when the 9th came, she said, "Oh, we got this." Bitch didn't know shit about baseball. Kinsler's stolen base was HUGE. The pitch Rhodes threw to Hamilton was stupid as fuck: slightly above the belt w/out any movement. Great win for Texas and great game all together. A lot of people making a big deal about Pujols fucking with the relay throw. Andrus wouldn't have advanced to second, meaning possibly extra innings, but Texas would have been favored to win with their bullpen. And Joe Buck is the worst person FOX could have calling the World Series. No excitement for the game (he's "flat") and that fucking monotone voice.
