you have no idea what you're talking about, these people were abducted and forced into slavery.

secondly, that tidbit about being safe in any country if one was not to get involved with criminals is erroneous. people in foreign countries target outsiders, the trick is to look like a traveler, not a socks y chancletas wearing tourist.

umm, i dunno dude. certainly not gonna be ignorant enough to disagree with someone whom actually lives in the place im speaking on and more directly, place iv never even been but:

not sure it gets more "wild west" than almost 30,000 murders in less than 3 years. in fact, i can pretty much guarantee the "west west" didnt have even close to that many murders in 3 years.

this shit is outta control, and alls i need to tell me that is black and white statistics.

More than likely they approached these motherfuckers to get them across the border.

Gangs employ the coyotes to do this shit.

They knew they were coyotes, etc...

!!THAT'S CALLED GETTING INVOLVED WITH CRIMINALS!!

It's no different than walking into a bar in some random place you don't know and looking for weed. Then following some guy to some other place you don't know and getting yourself fucked up.

I will bet money on the fact that out of those 30,000 people, more than 95% of them were gang members, police or some public figure fucking with business.

Not to mention, South Americans walking around Mexico is like someone from Florida walking around California. They don't stick out like fucking old tourists from Massachusetts walking around downtown Tijuana. Fuck, I'm white as the driven snow and I have yet to be fucked with in foreign countries. Most of all down here.

Regardless, it's sad that all these people are dying, but for the average person to fear coming to Mexico over it...that's just dumb and you're letting the news control your life.

I hear ya, and your probably more accurate than the 6 o'clock news will have society bekieve. None the less its absolutely stagering when we learn about these statistics in black n white, weather these people were gang related or not its mind blowing and when you combine those facts/stats with the brutality in which its going down its astonishing.

One of the few commercials about drugs and in essence the "just say no campaigne" tho it was well after that, was the one where it showed kids talking intermitantly sayin things like "it was just a joint" or "ya sometimes me and my buddies liked to get stoned and watch movies on the weekend" and other really normal no big deal stuff. But after each little snippet of the kids speaking the screen went black and in white bold font had crazy criminal stats like "last year alone there were ____ killings on american streets over marijuana drug dealing" or "____ judges were killed last year during marijuana drug dealer trials" and on and on. It actually hit home, to a point and was a very clever way to get there message across that everytime someone buys dope illegaly off the streets the demand well above that intial dealers head and subsequent money and subsequent violence that may really does transpire because of it.

Imagine if they did those for blow.

THEY ARE HIRING.....

MantaLosZetas.jpg

Loose translation:

"Group Operative “Los Zetas” Want You. Military or Ex-military. We offer you a good salary, food, and Support to your family. Don’t suffer being mistreated or suffer from hunger. We DO NOT feed you Maruchan soup. Do not abstain from calling. Those interested..."

*Love the "Support for your family" part....yeah that doesn't sound suspicious at all.

The magazine is called

ALARMA!

Hell yeah, I just got back from Cuidad de Mexico last week and came home with a stack of 6 issues, only 12 pesos for the new one and 20 for the rest from a newsstand.

Best part of the magazine is how it's super tailored to creeps, with either a porn-start centerfold or some virgin-mary chicano art in the center PLUS mail-order Cubian brides. Magazine reads like a recruitment tool for gangsters.

I'm pretty sure you're arguing with someone who has just a tad bit more experience of being white in mexico than you.

Also, scan some pages from that Alarma magazine. For real.

Yes.

It's seriously amazing to me how people in America can ignore all of the violence in their own cities, but get so freaked about shit they hear of in foreign countries. It's almost like they treat it like "Kosher" violence if they get shot in America. Like the brand in Mexico is going to make you more dead than it would in the states.

LULZ.

"But at least the criminals in our country would kill us in English!"

Well according to Wikipedia, for every 100,000 people in Mexico 13.04 are murdered, compared to the 5.62 in the USA. That means you have over twice the chance of getting murdered in Mexico.

Buuuuut, you are more likely to get raped (or assaulted) in the USA by twice.
