Manute Bol
I'm half way thru season 3 but I don't see how they could top season 1 shit was grimey You will enjoy the 4th season. I started watching the wire when it was at the end of season 3, then watched the 4th season. So I had to go back and watch 1 and 2, totally killing my whole experience br0z. Still one of my favorite shows of all time.
Balance
season 2 was no good but the rest were sick. omar shouldve stayed in puerto rico and chilled. the way the last episode ends where all the roles and positions are refilled with the next generation was genius. im sad dookie became a dopehead tho
Violent Gangbanger
I think people underrate season 2, it's a bit slow but the last 3 or 4 episodes are the definition of suspense. The best part is when Omar goes as a witness against Bird, that was funny.
SwampFightOner
The person who plays Slim Charles is a musician in a D.C. go-go band. They did a version of the opening score, but not sure which episode or season. Yeah, I knew that but I was pretty sure he was into some shit as a young'n. I know his brother got killed in DC a few years back

The best part is when Omar goes as a witness against Bird, that was funny. great fuckin scene. i love what he says to the lawyer. and it is a good season. it's different, plenty different, but excellent, esp on rewatching. the greek is another great character
ILOTSMYBRAIN
Season two was good however I'd still say it was my least favorite. The scene where Meth car jack's Ziggy is HILARIOUS! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pu0ZaZ0HptA Jackpot!
Ferris Bueller
Shit gets the most grimey when Marlo and his set emerge, and the war between him and Barksdale goes on. Some of the most entertaining parts in the show involve Brother Mouzone.

2Blazzed
The scene with Brother and Omar in the alley pointing guns at each other is one of the best of the series As well as the monologue between bunk and omar on the bench
!@#$%
one of my all time fave lines, from damn near anything, is "He's worse than a drug dealer.. He's a developer."

KILZ FILLZ
saw watched the episode where omar and brother muzone handle that fool thought he was about to turn on avon
SwampFightOner
He did turn on Avon...they both turned on eachother. The scene where they're drinking on the balcony, reminiscing about their childhood, talking about how much they lov eachother, knowing they sold eachother out...seriously one of the saddest things I've ever watched on TV
troofandroomaz
^ far sadder was wacthing Wallace cry his fucking eyes to his only two friends, who then, reluctantly put two in his chest. The look on Poot's face when he pulled that trigger was more than I could bear.
SwampFightOner
I don't know, to me it wasn't nearly as bad because Wallace was a soft dude in the drug game, and that kind of shit is what happens Avon and Stringer came up together like brothers, and the money and power drove them apart. Even doing what they "had to do", you could see they still loved eachother (no homo)...shit was fucked

sneak
got given a copy of "the corner" for christmas...its done by the same people. its along the same lines as the wire, but not quite as gangster. it took me a while to get into it but its well worth watching... and its pretty wierd to watch the same actors play different roles....lester freeman is a fiend in this, Mayor Carcetti's black advisor is also a dope head...
