  1. Read recently and recommend: "The Great Gatsby" & "On Booze" by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This book ruled (Short stories, for the most part.) A working knowledge of Spanish or a reference of some sort helps at some points. Currently: Not very far in but definitely insightful if you've read the autobiography and are curious to know objective truths.
  2. I smoked salvia in a hostel in LA, my girlfriend at the time had to convince me I hadn't died and went to hell, for a while I thought I was part of some anthropomorphic roller coaster ride in a demonic theme park, and that I would remain so forever. This experience was legal.
  3. As much as I loved Nov York (I don't remember Novurkistan too well), this book was very subpar, too all over the place. Now working on this.
  4. Apparently taken by the late Tie from San Francisco http://www.flickr.com/photos/ohdoiloveyou/4566393916/in/set-72157594236693557
  5. Just arrived in the mail, the most beautifully printed book I own now (the edges of the pages are gold, tite). Just finished this on the train this morning, I don't get much time to read for fun as an alcoholic/art student, I really loved this book.
  6. This is incredibly helpful, but I have a feeling that this is just a loop of the part from the movie :o . If anybody has any further insight it would be appreciated, but thanks a lot, I do not mind so far just listening to the loop!
  7. There is a song that I am dying to find but is not credited in this film (The Black Power Mixtapes 1967-1975). It starts at 40:50 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAaYWN95rC8 I've tried to search for the lyrics, asked around, family, friends; no luck. If anybody knows who the musician is or the name of the song I would be grateful for that! Thx
