Media One Posted August 20 Share Posted August 20 Every now and again, I pop into the Wetherspoons. I don’t know what the American equivalent to this is? Essentially, it’s incredibly cheap beers and food with people drinking pitchers of blue cocktails to old boys enjoying the £2 pints of ale. These pints can also be enjoyed with your breakfast if you want depending on the fightyness of the clientele. They are also really divisive with their politics with the boss supporting Brexit and telling workers to go work in Tesco during covid resulting in him getting upset no one wanted to work in his pubs. They have a magazine they give out too that is always a fantastic read. On the other hand, they refurbish really nice buildings that would otherwise deteriorate and eventually be knocked down.
