Chipewa... I think that's how you spell it. My great great grandfather was a very well known and respected indian chief and when he died other top ranking indians from other tribes came from around the country to attend the funeral ceremony. I do not know his name, but I can probably find out. One thing that does suck is we do not have enough people working on getting financial aid working for our particular tribe. Most people with as much indian blood in them as I have can have their school completely paid for but this simply isn't a reality for me yet. Hopefully things will change in the near future.
