yomommasaho
w/o launching into an argument about this, i do like aliens the best, but you cant sleep on the original. they're both enjoyable to watch and well done, but are kind of like 2 different genres entirely. aliens has got the action, the guns, the excitement, but alien was all about scares and themes of psycho-sexual fears. the latter half of the franchise is basically unwatchable, whereas these 2 i could watch anytime. a mutant rancor
^word, 3 and resurrection where just i don't know but i didnt mind 4 to much had a plot that i could get into but the alienchildshit was too much. Prometheus is lookin' like it will fall into place for the prequel without to much nonsense, but i cant see being better than the original
BloodyWishes
Ah no sleep on the first at all! It was dope as fuck, but I like Aliens better, Ripley going through all that the second time, she was so awesome. And the exo-skeletons, damn. Once mine is finished I'm going shopping in it. Top shelf, no problem!
ipod90
Bob Arno: Pickpocket King nat geo mini documentary about a stage pickpocketer who goes to naples to meet real pickpocketers. only 45 mins and badass if your into that kinda stuff. watch it all the way through to the last minute, funny shit happens. link: http://kat.ph/national-geographic-pickpocket-king-pdtv-xvid-ac3-mvgroup-org-avi-t5866795.html This was great. STYLEISKING
Ricky has a dream: to make Staff Benda Bilili the best band in Congo Kinshasa. Roger, a street child, more than ever wants to join these stars of the ghetto, who get around in customized tricycles. Together, they must avoid the pitfalls of the street, stay united and find the force to hope in music. Spanning five years, from the first rehearsals to their triumph at international festivals, Benda Bilili! (“beyond appearances”) is the story of this dream becoming a reality. yomommasaho
the previews made his shit look mad typical and awful, but enough people told me they liked and my girl had been bugging me to see and she paid, so i was like fuck it, ill make up for it by seeing avengers this week. i was delightlfully surprised. it IS mad typical and awful, but its a self aware film that steps outside of itself to kind of critique the horror genre by adding a new element to it. i highly recommend this anyone who is into critical analysis of films and/or likes horror comedies. im not going to give anything else away about this film, but trust me, its quality.
