are these good?. i never heard of them till you posted this then i saw them in a mag. i dont trust companies i dont know

ACE are no joke , no shitty magnesium gimmick bullshit like Tensor's . If you skated in the 80's then you'll recognize the look , because most trucks looked like ACE . They turn awesome , and grind great . BTW Destructo are fucking garbage to whoever posted that weak shit .

ACE Truck Riders - Chris Pastras , Sergie Ventura , Lavar McBride , Joey Tershay , Jimmy The Greek , Donny Barley...and a lot more .

celt.....cats like us are cut from the same cloth...i will take your word for it. once i hit the axle on my current trucks(which are destructos btw; which i jacked from some coked up kid from art school, brand new) ....i will look into said ACE trucks.

the destructos didnt do me wrong...however they last like grind kings....not at all.

Yeah. Pretty much everything G&S ever made for the skate market was garbage. They were strictly a So-Cal surf company. Out of San Diego I think. Probably one of the first surf companies to really try to cross over into the skateboard scene. And they failed.

I've also ridden a few longboards (surfing) made by various G&S shapers, and they were very mediocre. Soft rails, forgiving rocker etc... that company seems to focus on the rookie shit.

my montage

Hey man, you guys are pretty good, but you need to drop the 270 out of the tail/noseslide unless you're going faster and power through that last 45 degrees. It doesn't look good unless you ride away tic-tac free. Loosen up the trucks.

Also, that's cool that your friend is in a band, but don't use them as the music unless they have a record deal or at least a little production value. It kinda has that awkward "I'm 14 and feeling up a girl behind the bleachers for the first time" kind of vibe. You know, the kind of music you listen to when the girl dumps you and you feel sorry for yourself listening to it alone in your room, thinking life will never be the same and how many people would miss you if you killed yourself. I had to mute the sound after about 60 seconds.

Lastly, don't make a fool of yourselves in front of middle aged black folks. It just backs up the stereotype that all white folks are goofy and awkward.

I finally bought my own copy after borrowing one from a friend...love this book . I had a total of 42 of the boards from the 1980's-2000's in the book . And I own 28 boards from 1970's-2000's in the book . This is a must for anyone that skates , whether you've been doing it for 20+ years , or just getting into skating . Some amazing history and I will more than likely have at least 4-5 tattoos of my favorite skate art .
