What i use (no exact measurements)

Get a jar and put some oink in

get a bottle and put some black pens in

pour black shoe shine / leather dye into the bottle until you are halfway - three fourths of the way up the pens.

Shake that up let it sit a few hours then shake again

Take a few black sharpies open them get the ink cotton shit and soak in a little bit of alcohol

pour all this shit you have been mixing into the jar with oink and mix that together.

i'm still scratching my head.

what?

ive just never liked markers. streaks are okay, but thats about it. markers make me feel "limited" if that makes sense, IE you cant really use a hard felt nib on a rough concrete wall without fucking up the nib. plus i just dont like the way it feels writing on certain surfaces. but streaks dont really apply to that.

iigh i havent used any markers in the past besides a sharpie magnum.

hated it so i stopped usin em now i decided to get em since theres a store across the street that sells pilots

That will probably be the best decision you have made concerning graffiti. Sharpie Magnum's are terrible, awful things. Pilots are great, great markers. I can not say it enough! Pilots fulfill every need you could ever desire from a clean, durable, non-dripping marker.

did u pull the nib out? no!

theres actually an arrow on the cap which says which way to unscrew the cap. closin a coke like the othr guy said. u ovr filled it. and dont hold it upside down for hella long. guna get all the ink right by the nib. instead jus whap it against ur hand a couple times w/ the cap facing away. use rags or some kinda contraption when filling to keep cleaner, also you dont rly have to modify markers jus make ur own ink. home made tops store borrowed anyday

....fuckin toy

btw anybody figured out a recipe for homemade streakers? one thing i never seen on here

There are some BS mixes using crayon, etc., but like the post above me said, you really should save yourself the hassle and just buy a streak. In order to make a homemade streak you'd be working with volatile chemicals at temperatures that could either explode in your face or create fumes that would seriously be hazardous to your health.

Be smart, don't try anything stupid without knowing what you're doing. I'm all for do it yourself, but really, as far as streaks go, buy them.

ive heard that if you have a mixture of oil pastels, maybe a tiny bit of wax, and some ink or paint (oilk paint) of the same color, mix it together and like heat it somehow (in the right ratios of course) it can harden into streak - like solid.. idk though its not that practical.. but its worth a try.. also streaks smell like windex so make sure to spray some glass cleaner in there. ajajaja

It is true you can use this mixture or a variation of such to get a "streak," but your end result will be less permanent and definitely not as good as the real deal.

so lets say you have some shit ink from an art store, like higgins, and you add some garvey to it. will it stain even though the shitty ink will basically wipe off? i've never used anything but home made and marsh, but have wanted to get some garvey to mix with other inks... is this a good idea? cause i can get the shitiness all day haha

First of all, Garvey and Higgins will not mix. Garvey is an alcohol based ink, and Higgins is a pigment-based ink. That's reason 1 why you shouldn't do that. Reason 2 is that you'll be taking an ink like Garvey that is a staining and fairly powerful ink by itself and in essence watering it down and making it stain less. Think about it. If you have 1 cup of Garvey, you put in 1 cup of Higgins, you'll essentially be only writing with a mix with 1 half the staining power of a straight Garvey mix.

If you're concerned about staining ability, stay away from Higgins. If you really don't care at all about getting buffed super easily, or you know your tag won't be rained on/buffed, knock yourself out with whatever you want.
