the.crooked Posted September 29, 2006 Share Posted September 29, 2006 i think some people here need to get an idea of what dressing nice is. jeans don't cut it when you step into a law firm, or go out for a 50 dollar per head steak dinner. there are times when you gotta put down the casuals, even polo's and go for somethin nicer. perry ellis makes some nice slacks. that microfiber business is awesome. sean john actually has a very nice dress shirt line. my typical dress nice attire is a pair of slacks, usually wide pinstriping. if its cold out, a cuffed shirt under a sweater, cufflinks of course. if its nice out, just a good dress shirt, not necessarily polo, or a button up. and every respectable person over 18 should have a good suit. even if just one, a black suit with a good cloth. and please please please get it tailored, cus no suit is cut off the rack for you. I got a suit on special from macy's tailored for about $400, not bad, and the vast majority of people look much better when they're wearing a suit as opposed to jeans and a tshirt.
