IDrinkSprite
Originally posted by Weapon X@Aug 12 2005, 12:02 AM Did anyone else catch that one about the Wu-Tang collab with various indie artists? :huh2: Quoted post Chambermusik.Com has just been informed that there is a project coming out called "Wu-Tang Meets Indie Culture". The album will drop on October 18th, through Koch Records, in association with Babygrande Records and Think Differently Music. Basically, this album is what it sounds like: Wu-Tang collaborating with Independent Underground MC's. We can't name any names, but let's just say, it is CRAZY, some of the collabos are bananas. These are all brand new songs, recorded, so it's not blends nor old verses, but exclusive and fresh material. If you all have been paying attention recently, you have heard or seen Wu & hip hop artists talking about doing colabo's with underground MC's. Well, you haven't heard half of it yet! This project will be crazy. RZA & MF Doom did a song together called "Biochemical Equation" GZA & Ras Kass did a song together U-God, Sean Price, C Ray Walz & Prodigal Sunn got a song together Other artists involved are Raekwon, Ghostface, Littles, Tragedy Khadafi, and more Wu-Fam and many more underground artists. More Info to come. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Think Differently Music: Wu-Tang Meets the Indie Culture is an unprecedented pairing of Wu-Tang artists, producers and affiliates with some of independent hip-hops east and west coast elite. RZA, MF Doom, GZA, Rass Kass, Aesop Rock, Masta Killa, Del the Funky Homosapien, Sean Price, J Live, Tragedy Khadafi, C Rayz Walz, RA the Rugged Man, Littles, Cannibal Ox, Sunz of Man, Royal Fam and many more artists, producers and even award winning filmmaker Jim Jarmusch have come together for what will be a historic moment in hip-hop. Sounds like it 'might' be pretty dope.

Guest KING BLING
The thing I like about hip hop these days is that old rappers are still around if you look. And while the albums are now basicly underground, they are still just as good as they were. My buddy played me Opio's newer album from months ago and I was thinking how cool it sounded, like a slightly improved version of the old Heiro...
