In Australia Armistice day, or as we call it Rememberance Day, hasn't been adulterated and is still there to solely commemorate the signing of the armistice that ended World War I on the 11th of November, we have another day, ANZAC day, for our veterans in general. mudpuddles Posted November 12, 2009 Share Posted November 12, 2009 a little late on this but i was listening to a roll call yesterday on npr and it was really heartbreaking. they call out the names of soldiers and you respond if you are there to do so. it was so sad to hear the silence after some names being called out. much love to all people fighting for a better world. as long as that is what is in your heart, you're fighting the right fight.
