absolute.despair
the head of the food safety department in Germany's federal ministry for consumer protection stated that it "examined Red Bull Cola in an elaborate chemical process and found traces of cocaine." This analysis concluded that there were 0.13 micrograms of cocaine per can of Red Bull Cola. http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/05/26/red-bull-cola-now-with-a-refreshing-kick-of-cocaine/

Abstract Rationality
Regardless, the amount of sugar in these drinks gives you more of a high than 0.13 grams of 'cocaine' in a RedBull (if it were true). Shit, weak ass Dunkin' Donuts coffee wires me way more ....

Abstract Rationality
In the metric system, a microgram (μg or sometimes ug) is 1/1,000,000 of a gram (1 × 10–6), or 1/1000 of a milligram, is one of the smallest units of weight/mass commonly used. shai
^^aaaaaaand? so what that shit ended in the turn of last century. It did? (throws 12 pack of Coke out the window) I wasn't implying that Coke still had cocaine in it, but that based on historical precedent this isn't a big deal despite what the press seems to think. If they want to freak people out about something, you know, IMPORTANT, then here's the story they ought to be covering.
The Cult Of Skaro
We doubted the truth of this report at first, but after examining and researching further it would appear that red bull cola does contain trace amounts of cocaine. Of course their was a similar report about the air quality in Barcelona containing trace amounts of drugs as well. http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2009-05-14-spain-airborne-drugs_N.htm We have to question the truth of this report though, since cocaine requires a process to create. Is red bull actually processing Coca leaves and then adding cocaine to the mixture, or is their a trace amount of coca alkaloid from using Coca leaves in the process of making the drink? Coca leaves are commonly used across the Andean region where the worlds cocaine supply comes from, as they allow more oxygen to be absorbed by the blood and lungs in higher climates, allowing people to live in those areas. So why exactly is some person in germany freaking out over trace amounts of cocaine from Coca leaves, when massive amounts of cocaine are being imported from Africa. Why is he not trying to ban all Africans from germany to prevent the spread of cocaine in his country. * The Cult Of Skaro *

CALIgula
there was a person in my class who presented research on the effects mixing alcohol and red bull and the probability of taking advantage of someone sexually or being sexually taken advantage of. the take home message was: mix alcohol and redbull and give it to girls and you can more than likely sex them.
