Warcloud
Anyone ever had this crap? I got a few from this dude who came back from the south. I mean, I'm gonna finish all of them, just because its beer, but it's not like someone can "acquire" a taste for these, they're terrible lol. TheGreatGatsby
Nice line up. I've tried Bourban County twice and I just can't get into it.
the.crooked
We had a 2008, a 2010, a rare, a coffee, and the vanilla variations. They were all stupid delicious. The rare and the coffee were my favs though.

the.crooked
not listed is the tactical nuclear penguin. which was so crazy. it's very hard to describe. but basically, it's a lot more approachable than you would think. at 32% i was really only able to drink about a shot of it. couple people passed back on it, so we put it back into the bottle and have it sitting at home at the moment. the highlights of the tasting for me were the: barrel aged 4th dimension old ale (can't think of brewer) great lakes black out stout BC rare/coffee panil 2007 barriquee and there was a barrel aged barleywine, mother of all storms (i think was the name). the.crooked
oh, and the cigar city Boar was delicious. Surly Darkness had a hard time comparing to the others, honestly. Which sort of surprised me. All in all, there had to be well over $500 worth of beer consumed that day. We also stuck an old bomber of Smuttonator in the fridge to drink, but didn't get to it. I was sad about that. count chocula
Dogfish Head Hellhound On My Ale worst ever. ugh - sounded really good "hoppy with hints of lemon" tasted more like a lemon peel. horrible— do not want.
the.crooked
that does not sound good. dfh is becoming very middle of the road in my opinion. indian brown, 90/60 minute, and the occasional midas touch to drink with a blunt is about all i want from them. anything goes
I liked the DFH Bitches Brew special release and some of the seasonals are ok, Aprihop (I know a lot of people hate this beer) and Festina Peche which can be good while bbq'ing when it's 100 degrees outside. Here's what I was sipping on this weekend, it's almost pointless to post these after the first post on this page... And the first production brewery to open in Washington DC in over 55 years, the Public Pale Ale is their first release. It's nothing special but it's $5 a pint and local. Bayboss1er
Just finished the Sierra Nevada Best of Beer Camp 12er. Highly recommend, but it's pretty pricey for a 12 pack. Got it as a birthday present, but would absolutely pay for it again.

the.crooked
i've been wanting that sierra nevada ovila allagash, while good, is stupidly overpriced.
john_gacy
Exactly. How are they going to make copies for more when the great, original shit costs less? It's good to try what people are doing, but the real deal is where it's at.
