I've still had better with ginger, but I would have this again. This seems old school to me, used to drink this plenty. Having it just a little while ago, it's a smooth drinking beer but there are plenty of other black beers with a little more bite to it. Aptly named. You can taste the hint of spices that one would find in a winter beer, but it's very subtle. With the weather, this seems like the only mild winter the Chi-town area will see.
