After School Special
"None of this worries me - Sept. 11, there were times I was worried," Giuliani says of sixth-place Iowa showing. That sounds like a joke, but dude really said that. Like every 5th word out of his mouth is 911.

Some1
Just because he is black means nothing if he gets elected he isn't going to change shit he is just going to be a puppet fulfilling someone elses agenda. Shit when he was first campaigning I listened to him as he sidestepped every question that people asked its fucking bullshit...

the.crooked
My thing is this- The changes that need to be made in this country will not come from the president anyways. Therefore, our complete reliance on the notion of an extremist reform candidate such as Paul is just as fallacious such a simple statement as I jokingly made about electing a black man solving our problems. We need to learn personal culpability again. Paul would not have gotten us that.
Some1
i meant more so in the eyes of the world. a visual apology for the last eight years, if you will. I don't think people are going to be giving dude pound for just being black... Like president of iran or whatever country is going to be like... "Damn nigga what took you so long?! Them crackahs been fucking this shit up!!! Oh yea can you spot a dude like 2 billion I'll hit you back on the first. I mean we the same you know how shit is..."

the.crooked
well i suppose i'll put it this way. we will see, wont we? some1- that wasn't really my point with the elect a black guy thing. I meant it more so as the world can see that the american public is ready for change. It displays that we have moved past (or at least are attemtpting to) many of the sentiments which have caused us to be one of the more hated countries in the world. Also, why is everyone on some republican constitutionalist's dick? The things he stands for are not all together good. The destruction of the public education system (and believe me, throwing it all back to the state is not a great idea, e.g. Texas public education before No Child Left Behind), and things of such nature are perfect examples of the ridiculousness that is Ron Paul. I have already posed this question in Crossfire but I will extend it here as well: I take Ron Paul's main two points to be the assignment of moral and other major political issues to state's rights, and a staunch literal reading of the constitution's parts. Now, assuming that Paul manage's to castrate the federal legislature enough such that they even agree to drop much of their power to the states, what will happen then. What happens when you end up with completely different societies adjacent to one another held together by a weakened and failing fed system? Oh hey articles of confederation, saw you fail once, will see again it seems. Also, the way we create all our fed institutions is through appropriations and legislation. So, Paul, in theory to get rid of such programs, would need the help of the fed legislature. Do any of you, realistically think that congress and the house would ever ever ever even let half the shit he talks about come to the floor? Coooommooooon people. If you want change, be realistic. Do not get ahead of yourselves.
the.crooked
dude, ron paul did very well at the caucus. despite your overly democratic bias, you have to see that. I see he got the second lowest count in a party that is already destined to lose this election. Also, I just wanted to tease you.

Some1
crooked You dont think us pulling troops home from occupying 100's of place around the world for no reason at all is a big enough way to show that america is ready for a change?!?! Dude no child left behind makes schools diploma factories and restricts smart kids from showing their true colors by the way. No child left behind punishes schools that are doing bad by taking money away from them while giving the schools who are doing well more money how fucking bogus is that. Lets not use money to fix problems in a school thats doing poorly and give it to the ones that are succeeding...its stupid...
