qsysue
Beauty. These are the closest I come to a Leica. The Fed 3 is lighter and smaller, but I prefer the pics the Fed 5 takes.
wafflecakee
canonet 28, found it for thirty dollars, haggled the dude down to 15. It was pretty dirty but I cleaned it up nicely. The battery compartment had an old blown up battery in it, that area still needs to be cleaned thoroughly. What battery do you use Joel? da1lyoperations
Niiice! I just sold my 28 but in the QL17 I use a PX625A, I'm pretty sure they use the same batteries. There's a few people on eBay that sell them if you can't find them in stores
qsysue
I have one of those, picked it up for a few dollars at a swap meet. Gave it to my daughter because I already have a couple Canonets but I don't think she ever uses it. It needs new light seals. Which I never have tried replacing myself on any cameras--I just tape them up good when I use them.
da1lyoperations
You can grab light seal replacement kits with little tools and instructions for about $7 on eBay. They're pretty handy and you can get them for all the models
qsysue
Thanks, yeah, I know. I'm just lazy/broke. And tape is easy.

wafflecakee
I wouldn't mind having a 5d. I think my canonet is a dud. Got a battery and no motion from the light meter. I might open it up and see what the internet has to say. * by harry booth, on Flickr

qsysue
I've been using this camera lately: So small and light.
wafflecakee
i love zuiko lenses. I got an electro 35 gt that I impulse bought on ebay. Its fucking trashed and I'm going to try to return it... I'm not very pleased with that purchase.
qsysue
You have to be careful to read the fine print on ebay. All of the broken cameras I've gotten from ebay had an "as is" statement in the listing that I missed.
wafflecakee
they say they accept returns if the description was not accurate, I may be screwed but I'm hoping to get away with it. shame too, its a nice camera.
qsysue
Yeah that's a bummer. I tried to pick one up a flea market but the guy wanted $50. I only have $15. :)

bigdoughnut69
Just got this last Thursday. Worth every penny and is really awesome for it's size. Here's some shots I've taken since getting it.
qsysue
That taxi photo with the "BEER" sign is kinda funny. Hard to laugh though cuz my daughter just crashed my car. These are the cameras I just took with me to a Flickr meetup in Chinatown (LA): Aviva Great Wall PF-1 Keystone EasyShot 455 Panorama They take similar photos. acer910
hows the nikon coolpix aw100s? just need something somewhat indestructible that i can fit in a pocket and take pictures of progress on various wooden boats im working on (there will be fucking TONS of dust in the immediate area), take photos for instructables, and take days in pics posts. da1lyoperations
They're pretty popular, we sold out all the models we got in at work within a few days. I like the Panasonic Lumix FT3 better though, it feels like it's built better (and probably is) plus you get the handy silicone sleeve for it. Definitely a good camera for working in a gritty environment and awesome for days in pics.
acer910
oh sweet, thats cheaper too. i was probably just going to sew a pouch for it out of an old sock anyways. doesnt come in black i assume?
da1lyoperations
Yeah no black, just those 4, the red isn't as bright in person though. They feel nicer to hold too, look forward to seeing days in pies.
Darkeist
Just got this last Thursday. Worth every penny and is really awesome for it's size. Here's some shots I've taken since getting it. how much did this cost you?
wafflecakee
yeah we sold out of the lumix's too. wait for the s100 coming soon. drool.
Mercer
If I could find a adobe camera raw plugin for those raw files (.RW2) I'd consider getting a lumix G3 and saying goodbye to my DSLR. Such a shame they don't shoot DNG files.
