Its pretty cool. Has a "diaphragm" pull lever that switches it to a yellow filter, and also has a vignette one too. Wasn't expecting that. Also has a "time" pull lever, but it doesnt always work. It does it with a spring on the shutter.

Minolta XG 1, Pentax (asahi) k1000,Canon Pellix. Got the Pentax through a friend for $20 including original bag/flash/extra lens(zoom)/manual. The other 2 I got the other day at Saver's (along with a "newer" bag,a zoom lens for the Canon, lens caps, body caps and some other random shit for 12 fucking bucks. I need to get them working though, the pellix is going straight to National Camera Exchange to get looked at, and the Minolta hopefully just needs batteries pretty sweet deal though. Really need someone to take me under their wing so I can take betterer pics though, this trial and error shit is getting spendy.

Nice dude, prime lenses are good, I wouldn't worry about using the zooms you got yet. The Pentax is a pretty standard 'student' camera, they last forever too. Some good cameras for learning 35mm stuff.

Find someone else who shoots film and just go and shoot some rolls together. You'll learn a lot just by doing that.

Even just lurking/posting in these threads will teach you a whole heap. Photography thread is like going to college, online. Haha.

little rangefinder with shutter priority and manual settings. Got it for $5, its really nice to not be lugging around a giant camera that you're always worried about because you paid hundreds of dollars for it.
