sauce recipe= props 4 u...

props arent necessary and its really not anything out of the ordinary except for the addition of the fresh roasted bell peppers.

for me i created the perfect recipe, perfectly sweetened with a nice smoke flavour, although you may want to add a tsp. or so more smoke, i dont suggest it tho. remember it does have somewut of a high sugar content and sugar will burn quick so when using it you dont want to exceed 20 minutes or so of cooking time, add it near the end.

pornbooths awesome bbq sauce

2 tbsp veggie oil

1 lg onion chopped, bout 2 cups

3 tbsp minced garlic

2.5 cups dark brown sugar

1 28 oz can whole peeled tomatoes, wit juice

1 cup roasted bell peppers packed, bout 2 large

1.5 tsp paprika

3 tsp sea salt

2 tbsp prepared mustard

1/2 cup worchestershire sauce

4 tsp dark chili powder

2 tsp liquid smoke

a few turns of fresh cracked black pepper

3/4 cup apple cider vinegar

over a med flame saute onion and garlic in oil until completely tender, almost turning golden. Add brown sugar, stir that shit up well and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring often.

add everything except vinegar, bring to a heavy simmer, cover with lid slightly ajar or loosly with foil, turn down heat and let simmer for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.

Add vinegar, put it in a blender or processor, mix until smooth.

chill in the fridge for at least a couple hours to overnight.

this makes like 6-8 cups so there may be plenty to freeze for a later time. for that one rack of beef ribs i used maybe 2 cups of it...

i get nothing but compliments on this recipe, enjoy people of oontzland :)

not really a meal, but me an my girl decided to try and make a frank lloyd wright gingerbread house. it didn't turn out as planned, but it's still kinda kickass.

homemade parmesan and garlic french fries.

sugar glass. we let it boil too fast so the sugar caramelized but it was still fun as hell to smash and tooth-rottingly delicious

the house was supposed to be a replica of this http://www.howardmodels.com/frank-lloyd-wright/william-h-winslow-house/winslow-house-10.html

it kinda was a pain in the ass so we cut some corners.

holy mother fuck that looks good. salmon, lowest in mercury highest in omega. so good for you and so fucking yum.

farce, i want to try making vegetarian lentil kale soup. how can i make this super tender and flavorful with a hint of curry?

that would be good. you pretty much have to braise the kale for about an hour maybe less. just start with a good veggie stock. one gallon of water mirepoix(2parts onion 1 part carrot and celery) a bit of fennel, fresh bay leaves, whole peppercorns, thyme and parsley stems. and let that simmer for 2-3 hours till reduced by about a quarter. then you got a great base for your soup.

Chicken boilage.

i don't understand this. why do people boil a whole chicken when doing a casserole. my sister would boil chicken breast to do this casserole she makes. that is until i showed her that it's way tastier to season the chicken and sear it in a pan then finish it off in the oven. she loved it chicken was flavorful and juicy she does it like that every time now. you should try to roast the chicken. trust me it'll pay off.

I boil it because that is the way that my mother taught me.

But I will take your advice and roast it next time.

boiling chicken without bones (the breast) makes it super dry. the fat and bones boiled with the meat makes it more tender...for that 'shredded' effect that's really good for chicken enchiladas. that's how the mexicans do it...plus it's cheaper to buy chicken whole.

i can understand braising in a flavorful liquid. but just straight up water does not make any sense. the whole reason for cooking something is to build flavor profile. why boil in water when you can boil in stock with herbs and shit. and most mexicans i know don't boil in just plain ass water. and yes buying a whole chicken is cheaper. that's the way i prefer it. i buy most my meats whole. chicken, fish and steaks i'll cut up my self. it's way more cost effective to buy a whole beef tenderloin at 9.99 a pound that's not trimmed compared to one that has been trimmed and cost 14.99 a pound. i can take 10 minutes at most to clean that up myself. so i'm well aware of that aspect. it just doesn't make sense to me to boil a whole chicken in plain water.
