Seriously, if you live in NY, LA, SF, Miami, Chicago, Boston.... (any major city) and pull less than 6 figures, you are probably living paycheck to paycheck. *Edit - If you are in your late teens or early 20's, and not in a major city, that is decent moneys. But my friends living in SF and NYC make around 90k and cant afford to do shit, let alone pay rent. I love both of those cities, but that is just sad. Just because you gotta pay $1000 a month for a hole in the wall where you live, doesn't mean it's like that for the majority of the country. $55,000 a year is pretty decent pay for most people.
