Re: I wanna see your...........PETS!

This is my nigga Samson. He's a Boxer/Pitbull - dark brindle little bitch. He's afraid of bags blowing down the street, wind in general, horses, fireworks, water, 'the claw', my boy Zac, photography diffusers, his own tail, and nintendo WII controllers. Amongst other things.

Fool is hella fast though, listens a bit more than half the time, and lives a pretty baller life for a dog. Got 'em at the pound and I've had him for about four years now. He's posted on the couch bogarting all the fucking space right now.

have a problem and i know u dog owner will hook it up with the best advise.

i recently split up with my ex and we had our own spot and my dog duke. we would leave him home for about 8 ours a day in his room and all he would do is sleep all day. i treat this dog like my son. from the minute i wake up and go to work im with him and when i come home im with him. i always play with him to keep him happy and drain his energy. this has worked for the past year and ahlf since ive had him but since me and my ex broke up i know live with my parents. and the problem is that i wake up at 630 and chill wit him till 8 or 9 then i leave him in my bed room he usually stays there till my lil bro gets home from school at 4 but some times hes in there till 630 when my parents get home. then they let him out. when i get home i play with him and chill with him till we knock out. my problem is that im not sure if im doing the right thing having him in the room for 8-10 hours during the week. what do u guys think. for the most part he is a lazy pit and always has been thanks for the advise cuz if im not doing enough for him i might start thinking about giving him away to some1 who has more time. but i really dont want to give him away cuz i care alot about him and i think hes happy even tho the 8 hours of sleep during the day sucks. and i dont go out monday thru friday so hes not left alone again..

Most def DO NOT give up your dog. I mean seriously, what do you think the majority of dogs do all day long? Plus, dogs in the wild would be den animals, sleeping in small places, which is part of why they respond well to crate training. So, while being in a room is not exactly exciting, I'm sure he's relatively comfortable and secure sleeping on shit that has your scent.

I understand where you're coming from to a degree. For the 1st 2-3 years I had my dog I mostly didn't work and took hm running off leash and swimming every day. Then the world of work came to me and now we're weekend warriors. I wish I still had unlimited freedom but that's not reality. Still, I make the best of the times I have and dude looks pretty happy.

illstate you have your head in the right place in terms of thinking about your dogs best interest but i'm sure that all he wants is to be with you.

my dog sleeps all day long as well, he sleeps in the same damn spot all day.

dogs dont care about square footage.

now you need to train him to bite your ex on site.
