porra
Porra you should post more often, good stuff! Thanks for the feedback, i'm sure it was at f22 but i think mrchupa is right because i'm sure it's from my hand shaking or the cars since they are very old! Thanks! I intend to. I post quite a bit of photos in the screwston thread as well as RTL and DTS threads in brick slayers...but obviously that is all graff. Those above photos were shot with a few different cameras, Canon 40D, Canon 5D ii and a 1976 AE-1. Here are a few more older photos: Sorry for the different sizes. Some of these were shot before I decided to make my photos mostly uniform (although I am starting to upload larger format these days).

porra
So is anyone in Austin? I lived here off an on for 10 years and just returned after 5 years back in Houston. There is a lot that I love about this city, but I am kind of bored when it comes to photography here. Well, mostly when it comes to shooting graffiti. There are NO train yards and the only lay ups that I know of are really lame and the trains hardly ever change. Seems like less than 20 trains come through town during the day. If anyone has some suggestions, please PM me. I guess I am just venting as I am in one of those stagnant states where I go out to shoot, but just drive/walk around for hours with little to show. Blah blah blah...
CaughtYouLookin99
^^^bump the fuck out of that last shot, super tight. Im trying to get back into film...any suggestions as to what i should mess around with??? [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img]
Deine Mudder
It's called panning. If you have a slow shutter speed (guaranteed to slow down if you're shooting f22) and follow a moving object that is continuing on a trajectory you can keep your focal point sharp while blurring your background. I think it's more than the panning, like, in your shot the whole the background is blurred, but the freight is equally sharp - as doodle's car at f/22 should be. Only explaination to me is that the (sharp) wheel is steady on the ground, while the rest os the car swings / bounces a little bit. Also nice stuff porra, thanks for sharing. CaughtYou - I don't really understand your question.
porra
Thanks y'all. That last photo, at first glance I was like, cool...doing blow off an iPad hahaha! Did a short walk around downtown Austin today.

Internerd
Yea, I enjoy them too. Nikon stuff has quite some punch. What lens is on that thing, what film? Would love to see some vivid material like Portra shot at those places. af nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 The only two films I can find in Bali are Fujicolor superia 200 and kokdakcolor 200 I can't seem to find any other film or anything higher than 200 here which is a shame so i just stick with the fuji. Film is dying out here fast. Maybe I just need to ask around more. Got some photos to post soon.
MrChupacabra
Rad. Internerd: I know a lot of places don't ship to Indo, but if I'm not mistaken, B&H still does. No idea how bad of shipping/custom fees you'd be looking at, but I believe you could order other films from there. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/Roll-Film/ci/2545/N/4294548524

Internerd
Yeah I can always order it it's just a hassle and a lot more expensive to do so. I have a friend in Jakarta who can send me film, but it would be nice to have somewhere close to get film. But I might get some stuff of that b&h site, thanks chupa I've got a problem with my f4. I'm using a 36 exposure film, for some unknown reason after 15 exposures the red light lights up indicating the end of the roll. So I ended up with only 15 shots. The previous roll stopped after 25 exposures Any ideas? Maybe daily?

Doodle
if it's not stolen that mountain one is dope! Also the fire breathing one would look much better if it was in focus.

Yeah checked the negs, 15 consistent shots, rest of the strip is blank. Previous roll was the same. Kinda annoying
