    SUDOKU

Discussion started by RumPuncher - Nov 1, 2005

so I read in a newspaper yesterday that British Airways are
banning this game called 'sudoku' from flights because the
stewarts were playing it obsessively. That caught my interest....

then I flip back a few pages.... and there's one of the little games.

< let the all consuming addiction begin >

Let's just say that I had no idea about how to solve one of these addictive little fuckers,
so I spent something like 2 hours scribbling numbers down. When I finally solved it... I danced around my house, touchdown style!

http://www.sudoku.com/ - here's all the info you need on how to play.

    here's the deal:
each box of 9 squares contains the numbers 1-9, but only once.
each row and colum has the numbers 1-9, but again, only once.

^ solution to the above puzzle

I've decided that I will master this little game, and flex the grey matter.
and it would be a great icebreaker with her. You know that's what it all comes down to.

Oh man I love these! I ALWAYS get one box left and realize that one row just absolutely fucks everything I've done for the last hour. Then I scream and throw things....

They have actually been a helpful bonding tool with my girlfriend's dad and myself....

A couple of weeks ago this completely took over our department and absolutley NOTHING got done for like 3 days. We decided to cut it cold turkey... and now it's popping up in the newspaper. It's the very first thing I do when I get home.
