Weapon X
enchanted. it looks beautiful. i have some ravine space in my area, and it looks nice, too. *but it doesn't look as 'country', know what I mean? none of those little wooden fences and such. and the forest is obviously different. slave_one
this is my favorite pic so far. i'd be scared to live in the forest. i get spooked out too easily.
bodice_ripper
I should mention that I live in an housing estate next to this forest, not in it. In fact Coilte (the irish forestry board) recently came in an flattened a large chunk of it, because the trees weren't native to Ireland. the defined native as existing on the island more than 400 years. I hate to sound like a hippy but it broke my heart....
bodice_ripper
note the lack of conifers - which aren't native to Ireland.... anyway, I had to drive into town for a bit, so here's a tiny bit of that drab capital I mentioned
seven.13
Great fotos! Sometimes I find myself missing Ireland, I can't wait to go back. Next time I'll try not to be stoned 24 hours a day so I can actually notice more things and people around me ;)

Jackson
Y'argh Eire. Didn't realise you were from Ireland, the people who ran the shop where I used to work were typical stuuupid paddies. "You're doin' it all wrong", no I'm not.

azert
I used to live in an old country town and Germany and it was a lot like that. But then I moved to Tokyo and forests are almost non-existant. Well there are some, but they're nothing like Germany.

SteveAustin
I think its in the right forum bodice. Untitled is more for artsy photos I believe. Weird...the (forest) photos really remind me of the woods I used to play in when I was a wee little tyke.
