ndv
I am getting my ducks lined up as I am getting ready to replace head gasket so I am looking at torque wrenches. I have some money to spend but have a budget to an extent and would like to know if anyone of you can recommend a better than good digital torque wrench. Perhaps something that crosses the line from automotive to aerospace torque wrench. Anyone have some recommendations in what brands to look at? T4M*
I have a Regular Wrench and a Digital torque "Socket" (ill show you tomorrow, taking out the transmission in my vehicle) A Digital torque Socket is a good start, your bolts shouldn't need too much pounds to put back. The Socket types that are small in pounds are cheap. @ndv

Some thing from 10lbs - possibly 250lbs. But it doesn't have to be 250, it could be 100 - 150 and I would be happy with that. The reason I am looking for something with a wide range is becuase I would like to buy it once and a high grade one at that. The Socket goes up to 250lbs, didn't know . . . . It's bulky, won't work in some areas of the car. I have adapters too for bigger applications. 2
ndv
@T4M* I noticed those torque adapters popped up in my search. I don't know anything about them so I wasn't sure if that was the best option. I'll look into it. Thanks!

I don't own power tools of this brand. I get things like what you got, drill bits etc. I also found a pretty cool drill too, and all it needs is a charger. Don't know if the battery works, have to bust out my multi meter to see. If it works, I'll check out the brand's tools that require this battery. Sidenote* The brand Dremel Sucks. Went through 2 dremels already. That still needs to be replaced.
Mercer
I've got a couple of torque wrenches, my favorite/most used is probably the cheapest one: https://a.co/d/dOKsqK1

Fist 666
I'm blown away by the number of PMs I deal with who are so proud of their Ryobi "drip" as it were. Even the stonemasons make fun of them.
mr.yuck
@Fist 666I was just on a job with some floor guys who were bragging about their battery powered trim nailer. "Yeah this baby will do 3 houses between charges." Me looking at half the nails that didn't set in the quarter round
Fist 666
Yeah, there are some bad tools made by the good brands, battery staplers and nailers among them, in my experience.
LUGR
I have a Ryobi drill. It was a Christmas gift years ago and still works fine to this day. Also have a Ryobi fishing reel my cousin left here. Never used that before, not sure they still make those lol

I had an old homie had some senco battery nailers that were the absolute shit. They were also like $600 a piece. Worth it. I just looked them up and apparently they just got bought up by Kyocera. Now they look like fucking transformers. I hate when conglomerate companies buy up good products. Bullshit is coming.
Fist 666
Damn, that's a price tag, but if it works, it's worth it. My sds plus hurt me a bit to buy, but the frequency with which it earns its keep is truly amazing. Just today I had probably 90 anchors to set in poured walls, did probably 70 of them on one 5ah battery and the bits are still great. If I were using my regular ass hammerdrill I'd still be there... And @LUGR I'm talking shit, but if it works for you, fuck it.
