Mercer
Do you have mp3's stored in a folder on your computer all ready? If so, open iTunes then go into >file >add folder to library >choose that folder with the music in it. Then just plug your ipod into your computer and sync it. As for getting more music I just use torrents and download mp3 files then repeat the steps shown above for each individual album. An important thing to note is once any folder has been added to your iTunes library, if it gets moved to another location you have to delete the old one and re-add the folder into your library from it's new location. Fairly simple, the best thing to do is make sure all your music lists the album/artist/track number in the properties. If that info is in the properties iTunes can organize it for you, if not you have to do it manually.
Mercer
Also, there are rumors of threads in 12oz's VIP section where this shit is handled. VIP only cost like $12 a year and you can save that much in an hour of oontzing. Torrents are probably the best way IMO but the VIP shit is so easy even a cave man can do it. fishsticks
I can't drag my music from Frost Wire into Itunes anymore.
Mercer
If it's mp3 files store it on your computer and then add the folder into your iTunes library, problem solved. I store all my shit outside of iTunes first so I can back it up and also not have to use itunes if I don't want to.

Swindle
i heard KaZaA is the program to use regarding pirated music? apparently you can burn your own compact discs with music you have selected, not necessarily from the same artists or albums. is this true? would love some new compact discs

skullnbones
filestube is good for getting albums or just use google. For example, if I wanted Lisa Mitchels album Wonder and I wanted to download it with rapidshare, I would put into google, Lisa Mitchell Wonder Rapidshare and you will quite often find what you are looking for in the first couple of results. If you don't want to use rapidshare use what ever other sharing site you like. Hotfile Mediafire and so on are all good. limewire and whatever else will give you ten trillion virus' as soon as you look at it. Edit: I used to actually use Napster when it was popping and thought it was fucking amazing because everybody else was still buying cd's. LOSERS!!! Swindle
exactly. i have 8575 items ( 39.70GB ) and most of it is pirated
Fist 666
i've got a bit over 15000, only about 5000 of it is pirate stuff. and i intend to buy most of what i have when i run across the album at a used shop or when i get to see the bands. i really don't like paying full price for cds, but i do like having the hard copy. Mercer
I have a shit load of tapes, CD's and vinyl I've paid for over the years. They either get stolen, lost, scratched, or won't work on my ipod after I switch computers. Everything on my ipod is downloaded now, not one dime went to itunes, a record company, or artist. I feel like I've more than paid my share growing up, also fuck a record exec. The only way I part with money now is live performances or occasionally I'll pay for some obscure shit I can't download. I really don't feel no shame about it, 99% of these motherfuckers are rich enough, I'm not.
Fist 666
not trying to be cool/elite/underground but most of what i listen to is made by dudes like me that live check to check and work shitty ass jobs and worry about making it to the next city on their tour... those are the ones i don't like stealing. everybody else, i steal guilt free.
