Kevin Harris 116 Posted April 26, 2009 So when you start a law firm, the first place you go to is a Graffiti Forum? What made you think of that Einstein? I don't think your fit to handle a Law Firm based on what I've seen already.

geezpot 158 Posted April 26, 2009 Do you work in a law office right now? You realize starting your own business in a recession is probably the worst idea unless you specialize in foreclosures.

Poesia [ ] T 514 Posted April 26, 2009 I WOULD start a practice doing loan modifications Lawyers are raking in the cash right now but it will only last about another year or 2. But im talking 50-100K a month easy.
KM4RT 489 Posted April 26, 2009 You realize starting your own business in a recession is probably the worst idea unless you specialize in foreclosures. It's not such a bad idea. There's still lots of legal work out there. If he's any good, he could be able to compete with the bigger firms by simply undercutting their prices. In terms of overheads and ongoing costs, bigger firms need to keep their big buildings, admin girls, and BMWs running. He doesn't have all that to worry about. Veritably Clean 291 Posted April 26, 2009 you should offer to defend us in court if we were to make you anything, what does the oontz get out of it?
shai 710 Posted April 26, 2009 Becoming an attorney is not a bad idea in any economy...even more so as lawyers are essentially recession-proof if not more busy during tough times. I'm still curious as to what field John Doe plans to start a practice in, though.
