The specialist I saw last Monday said I can make a claim if I have future issues with that area of my back. The test he ran which surprised me was my left (non dominant) hand can grip with 5kg more pressure than my right (my injured/recovered) side. I have like 1 of every player there was (I took them from my other store too, as we were allowed as the Derby was that day) Well the meeting was about how I went thru the stupid fucken area managers purse that she left there at my last shift. I told the truth, other than how the second time I went thru it (searching for bugs) I said I was looking for a phone number, or her mobile phone. I made her look like an idiot to the state manager, as he realized the whole thing was wasting his time. She just hates me and is clutching at straws to get me sacked (which I hope happens anyway). Apparently the State manager is going to call me with their course of action tomorrow, so it will give me an opportunity to thank him for letting me go, as I don't want to work for a company that has fucken bitches like her in managerial positions. My Dad was laughing at how nervous she was, I mean the bitches hands were doing a Michael J Fox and shit, but I had to tell Dad later that in her bag was half a chemist. She made up a lie too about her phone so she is gonna get called out on that. She accused me of thinking on the spot (which I was, as I hadn't had the past 4 weeks to think about what I was going to say as she did) which my Dad said was a good ability to have. All in all, I think I shall come out of it with a nice unfair dismissal case if I choose to proceed if they fire me. I had worked for over 2 years without any mishaps, yet in the past 7 months since this bitch became area manager, I have had 3 written warnings and this bullshit happening now. I understand 1 warning for rocking up to work hungover and still drunk was probably justified, but the rest is all bullshit. As I said I thought I was doing the right thing, and it was all on security footage (which I knew) and I was only 3 feet away from my coworker who watched me do it. And I was meant to have a shift the week after this incident occurred, but this manager took my shift over, as apparently it was meant to help cut costs. I wish it was as easy to sue here as in the US, but the new IR laws that are in this country means all the power lies with the employer, they do things without reason, as long as it suits them. If he calls you then immediately express an interest in her job. He might be calling to let you go but might rethink it if he sees a potential long term employee.
