I have a big vocabulary and when I use a word that isn't common-place and someone asks me what it means I just say look it up. hahaha. WE, THE 12OZ ALMIGHTY, DEMAND STORIES! :discuss: the story is not that good. this chick is a control freak, not an intellectual i have a degree, but i'm also a criminal. she works in a facility that houses fish, and has a lot of equipment, so there's all kinds of people coming in and out a lot and that annoys the bejesus outa her. plus my lab produces roughly five top notch scientific journals a year hers produces about one paper every two years. i got this email today: S*, N* and I have already agreed that, upon delivery of the new injection station, use of the the fourth floor injection stations would revert exclusively to the F* and M* labs and that K* lab personnel would make exclusive use of the 5th floor injection facility. Some significant time has now passed since delivery of the injector and this has not yet happened so it has become necessary to implement an arbitrary deadline - starting from this Monday (May 15th 2006) S* and I expect that the above agreement will be adhered to. This should alleviate the user volume issues - with � 2 users for one injector on the 5th floor and our �8 experimentalists using the 3 injectors here on the 4th floor. In the interim (Thursday 11th/friday 12th) we expect that non-F*/M* lab members will establish with a PI that injection stations and corresponding microscopes/imaging will not be needed prior to initiating any experiments. One person may feel that they are more of an intellectual than another, whereas that person may think the same thing about someone below them, etc. I just found it funny how someone would say "Everyone hates pseudo-intellectuals." Think about it. Pseudo just means fake, but who is to say who is fake and who isn't? Is there a formula for an intellectual? Are you retarded? Answers to this and more, stay tuned! I mean first off I'm totally offended by the condesencion of suggesting that I'm somehow deluded or seperated from actuality. Second, the only defense to this sort of attack other than total silence is to say "No, ACTUALLY...!" AND THAT'S WHERE I GET PISSED! I'm instantly sucked down to this idiot's level... so, now when people say stuff like that to me I sort of shut down emotionally, look them in the eye and slowly shake my head.
