shitting
curse of the golden flower was a bit stale. Half the fun of those Chinese fighting movies is that there's a lot of travel, scenery and cool places. they are adventure movies that whole movie was set in a gaudy palace. It was alot like a court intrigue stage play. it had it's good pionts though And why was the emperor trying to poison his wife anyway? ...aside from her being a bitch

fermentor666
Yeah, especially since the girl spends about 90% of the movie drugged out on heroin and not on camera.

serum
i dont know much about architecture but this was really inspiring. the guy was broke as hell, didnt even make a building until he was like 60, had several mistresses, failed at everything but artistic architecture. his son, who no one even knew he existed, interviews people that knew him in order to get an idea of what kind of guy he was. (documentary) i also saw sketches of frank gehry and though it had its interesting moments couldnt really compare to my architect. it just wasnt very in depth.
