yomommasaho Posted June 15, 2011 Share Posted June 15, 2011 not really sure what I think of this one, sometimes I like it others not, I tried to recreate the looseness of the Relm battle piece alts, i feel like kind of a douche bag whan i come on here and break a piece down with some sort of authoritarianism like im fuckin leonard maltin or whatever, but you seem open to constructive criticism, so ima speak my piece... i think your letters, once i recognize what/where they are, are sick, but there in lies a key issue with your pieces: at times, the letters themselves lack clear definition. I love the compostion, the placement/flow of the extensions and arrows, but i agree with mek, the LTS can be read, but we gotta search for the A. if you would make the outline go a little further in the right places, make it so that the letter's strokes, not the additions, were the the first thing recognized, it would make the piece go from good to holy fuckin shit. specifically, on the A i mean the conneciton from the bottom left to the middle bar, and on the S, the way the tail end meets with the middle. these are things that can work, but if they loose their definition, the whole letter structure gets lost too. keep up the good work, man. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
