Mercer
Thanks mang, I don't really take myself that seriously though just because I've learned enough about this that I realize just how little I know and how much is left for me to learn. On a semi related note, the godfather of 12oz photography has a brand new website up that I'm checking out now: http://www.angryalan.com
qsysue
I wasn't just defending myself--I know plenty of toy camera shooters that aren't "hipsters" and know their way around a camera. Toy cameras are trendy now, which makes them bug a lot of people, I suppose, but I'm fine with them being trendy. If it means film and cameras will be more likely to be produced! Mercer that's an awesome story. I love that the cops didn't have anything more important to do than pose for pics.
Mercer
Hahaha, it's Brooklyn though, they actually didn't have anything productive to do, it's beyond gentrified there.

MrChupacabra
So crazy that the polaroid pass around was 7 years ago. My third page is probably my favorite multiple exposure I've ever shot and upon review, I really like my first shot too. My second page is garbage though. Cool. qsysue
Love that brick wall shot up there. I have a color enlarger but the switch on it is broken. I've tried developing color negatives with a home kit but have trouble getting the temperatures exact. Any tips?
-Rage-
I refuse to process my own color film. Unless you have the right gear or you don't mind fucked up film then it's best to send it out. Then again, when you shoot in bulk from 35mm to 8x10 there's no sense in buying a boat load of color chemistry.
qsysue
Well, yeah, I'm big time into messed up film. It's why I like to shoot with 30+ year old B&W...always an experiment. Someday I'd even like to do this:
-Rage-
That is ridiculous. I don't even want to know how much time or money that person spent.
qsysue
One person's ridiculous is another person's rockin' good time. I'd forgotten until coming to this forum how snobby photographers can be.
-Rage-
Right. Well. Just seems a little excessive when the film they was is still in production. The Kodachrome on the other hand is useful.
qsysue
I figure eventually almost all film will be out of production. Might as well be able to make your own. Fortunately my husband's a mechanical engineer and enjoys building ridiculous machines. :) Someday...I'll be selling you film! Ha.
