Post pics of that E39 tho! I'm keen af to get one but the missus ain't having it. My weekend: Friday night: 40th dinner with my wife's friend from mum's group. Late start and minimal drinks. Somehow still cost $120 a head. Saturday: I started baseball for the first time this year at 38. I'm rubbish and play in the bottom league. It's fucking awesome but takes up a big chunk of my day. Took the little one for a walk to grab dinner supplies and give mama a break. Sunday: Took little one to the zoo. Seen heaps of rad animals and called it when the little one cracked it at my request to out her jacket back on. Promptly missed the train home and sat shooting the shit with her on the platform for 20 minutes or so. She passed out as soon as we got on the train. Wife took the little one out for the afternoon giving me an hour to smash a CSGO round or two. Overall, standard but enjoyable.

Cool. I've done some shows and it always helps to have some kind of theme....even if that theme is about the physical size (eg. all works are A4) or certain style (eg. all works are BLACK in colour) or seasonal (eg. Winter). It gives artists a little bit to go on to try and interpret the theme. There was a recent show I had work in where the theme was Winter. I used a lot of grey colour and so did a bunch of other people. But grey-blue was also popular. Made the show really cohesive. Personally, I feel the tight timeframe is a bonus as it's a strict deadline and gets people motivated knowing their work will be on display really soon. Good luck!

Rumour I've heard is it's near impossible to get custom new era these days. New era keeping all that custom goodness to themselves. However, I also know they dropping blanks at hat shops (but licencing means the shop can't customise). So the work around appears to be, buy a blank and find a non-affiliated embroidery place to do the work. Hope this helps.

I've been back on here more in the past few weeks than I'd been on in maybe 6+ years combined. The timing was perfect (though a little ironic) as I got back here via a 12oz Instagram post. I've also been thinking of removing my FB account for a while and cleaning up my online social presence generally. The real tipping point for me was moving house to an area with quite an active IRL community. I've never before lived in an area where people meet up and fix shit or plant trees. It's actually quite weird, but exciting at the same time. I now find myself getting involved more and proposing new things for the area that I think others will enjoy. (for example, I setup the first free street library recently) and now I'm starting to get the conversation about the upcoming election (same party has been voted in for the past 30 years, which is fucking crazy) in the hope we can get a new party in and some much needed infrastructure support. Basically, I think I'm a little over the bullshit parts of the internet and pine for a time when the internet was fun. It's not fun anymore. 12oz was always fun.
