Looking at architecture in the rest of the neighborhood, a lot of these porches are just brick arches that were screened in. I assumed mine was closed in at some point. Not the case. All of this is original to the house being built. These fools that had this joint built were some war time ballers apparently. Although the windows are definitely replacement windows, there were originally those old pulley system windows down here with the large iron counter weights.
