mr.yuck
I mean you can get a quality quartz for around $75 a sq ft. I think they were just giving me a fuck off price. I've done it before. Ive never had it done to me before 😂 it's a funny feeling. 1
NightmareOnElmStreet
Though I had a good amount of help. Putting this window in was pretty cool. So much more to do. Slider door is next. Just finished gutting up the interior side. 3
NightmareOnElmStreet
I can really tell why these old houses burn to the ground so easily. Fuckin knob and tube just completely surrounded by old newspaper surrounded by highly flammable ancient insulation lolol. 2 1

I don’t know shit about sketchup or whatever one uses to create blueprints but definitely looking for something easy and cheap to get a couple of loose wizard ideas for my bathroom. Like the shit you take a couple photos and they just craft little design ideas for you?
LUGR
“Loose wizard ideas”….? ^this and whatever you were saying about my sausage in the other thread…..your lingo is crazy these days. I dig it 1
fat ralphy
@NightmareOnElmStreet I will have to ask the dude that did them for me. The same tool also generates these 3D renderings. Its also pretty simple because when I asked him to make some changes for a master closet - he was able to put a design together in seconds changing the initial designs with just a click.
mr.yuck
Let me know about that program too. My wife just ditched sketch up. She said there is nothing intuitive about that program and for real it damn near looks like you either have to go to school to use that shit or watch hours and hours of irrelevant tutorials to glean a little piece of relevant knowledge. @NightmareOnElmStreet

NightmareOnElmStreet
Word yeah I know that shits around just trying to not hire a designer lol. One of my old estimating apps houzz pro had a room scanner for materials but I think the same shit is used to make little design mock ups. 10 hours ago, LUGR said: “Loose wizard ideas”….? ^this and whatever you were saying about my sausage in the other thread…..your lingo is crazy these days. I dig it Same as it ever was. Talk the same exact way irl. Most folks say I should come with a dictionary. I say just don’t think about it too hard and the words will just come together. 1

Also general spatial intelligence probably plays in. Like, the ability visualize building anything with your hands is difficult for some. Some people think lego instructions are hard to follow.

mr.yuck
I've been waiting over a year to do this patch. Had to clean up the inside of the box first and I was mega bullshitting on this one. The electrician that came in here and figured out all of these 3 way switches for me also tied all of the dead lines into the new electric and left wire exposed so that when you went to push the switches into the box it crossed wires with something else and shorted out the circuit. Thanks bro. Anywho, I tackled that yesterday and deleted 3 wires out of that box. Adios bitches into the wall you go. Now it's mudding time.
mr.yuck
All drywall is finally fucking done to level 5 finish. And the last few patches are in. Once those are mudded all of this drywall work will finally be complete. 1

NightmareOnElmStreet
Nah hell naw lol. I’m nobody in this game. Some day I forsee that changing though. Painting/spraying has given me a super solid foundation for detail on what works and what’s most clean. Once I learn a few more things I’ll be crushing the trap house diy game.
