CPH was one of my favourite cities that ive been to, planned on 2 days ended up doing a week and a half. i assume you were there before you were able to drink? the drinking culture there is fucking awesome, they start partying every night from wednesday onwards, just a shame about the price. a-dam is awesome but only 10-15 percent of people there are locals, you get no sense of culture unless your taken in by a local as we were impossibly lucky to have happen. its just aussies, yanks and canucks stumbling around with red eyes. when you see glimmers of the local life though, like groups riding on bikes at night singing or the party boats cruising down the lit up canals blaring hip-hop, you fall in love. i just with it wasnt such a tourist place. i;d honestly be happier if weed were banned so i could go back and enjoy it with less tourists. crime stoppers Posted November 26, 2011 Author Share Posted November 26, 2011 so im here in london for another few weeks waiting on a visa and some other shit. went to the borough markets this morning, awesome place filled with gourmet produce from small producers spent around 50 pound on some of the best food ive ever seen. first thing you see as you enter the markets, smells incredible. monstrous pan of fried chorizo and veggies in sauce, ate it last time i was here so went for something else instead. got one of these fried up, tasty as shit. that plus a coffee, about the best breakfast i could get. the markets are based under a train line and run a fair bit deeper than it looks win dips and preserves etc it was pretty hard not to buy something from every stall ended up buying some jam huge meringues turkish delight of all different types, and everyone gives free tastes...also win fudgeeee the cheese stalls here are fantastic, the range these guys have is huge. local, italian, french and spanish. pieminister pies are the shit. tastiest looking veggie joint ive ever seen mmmm people starting xmas preparations early evoo of all different styles and olives hemp cheese, novelty value i assumed really wanted to try this. moar to come. crime stoppers Posted November 29, 2011 Author Share Posted November 29, 2011 I'd wreck my bank balance walking through that joint. i know what you mean, ive been there twice and spent about 100pound so far. but as im sure you know, you just cant find half of that shit in australia, and if you did, it would be far more expensive. the markets in general that are dotted around central london are pretty amazing for the most part, im definitely going to track a few more down Schnitzel; the more i think about it, i realise that Thessaloniki is probably the greatest place ive ever been. beer and food is cheap, weed is super easy to get hold of, people are incredibly nice and the girls are gorgeous. the party scene is decent and the student run uni is fucking wild. too many other awesome things happened there to mention, and the flicks dont really do it justice. in short. go there. crime stoppers Posted February 13, 2012 Author Share Posted February 13, 2012 been a while, ive been busy. remains of nye in amsterdam. i was quite lucky to have my fam over for xmas, it was nice smoking weed on the canal with my dad and brother whilst recklessly setting of fireworks and drinking beer. idiot got arrested about a minute after this \ leidseplein, this sort of shit is why so many people got eye injuries. the newspaper a few days later said there were more eye injuries on this night than in the entire iraq war. went up to the second story of a nice bar and counted down the new year. so much shit going on one of the better flicks always one fuckhead with a flare in a confined space dudes had the right idea first shot of the new year, proceeded to get very high with my brother kapow almost got kicked out of our hostel/ fined 250Euro for lighting roman candles (didnt know how shit they were) off the balcony. fucking turks. some cunt dropped a medium sized cracker at my feet, fucked my ears good and proper. a few more to come, then onto london and germany.
