WHDH-TV released screenshots of the flooding at Warwick Mall and on Wednesday afternoon they reported a story that a security guard who was trapped in the mall was rescued by firefighters using a boat to row across the parking lot that is under water. The Pawtuxet River http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBdZN3tTo34 Warwick Mall completely flooded, Video State is closed, National Guard all over, Crazy water damage..Unfortunately the state doesn't have water damage coverage. SwampFightOner
There was totally a thread about this (kind of) last night...you're late br0. I thought there was zero flooding in my hood, but my landlord came by today to ask me to unlock my part of the basement because there was some a bunch of water down there. The whole time he was talking to me about pumping the water and being kind of weird, and I didn't get why until I realized that when I got the apartment here I claimed to work in fire and flood repair
SwampFightOner
And why would dude need to be rescued by boat? I think I'd be OK with getting across a parking lot full of a few feet of water
IHATEU
just went out on amtrak and got screamed at by the jakes but the flood waters kept them from doing anything at all... not a bad time to get over at all in cranston/warwick area... there are a few good spots that are under water too, crazy to see shit that is usually 8-10 feet with just the top of your shit above water level.... SwampFightOner
THERE'S ALWAYS SOMEONEEEE TRYIN TO BE BLACK AT WARWICK MAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL. I will say this, even though Providence Place is a much larger and nicer mall, Warwick's Macy's is still better. If you wanna actually do some shopping though it's still Emerald Square FTW
50Nine
Providence Place is in millions and billions of debt, hah
SwampFightOner
That's because people only go there to chill, eat, see a movie, and fuck around at Dave and Busters. I'd say on any given day only like 20% of the people there are actually shopping

nsmbfan
yea it's nothing like Katrina. it hasn't been 24 hours and already you get coast guard, navy, FEMA... no blacks in rhode island i guess. no shortage of wiggers though either. also, your state is smaller than my pinky finger on most maps. /nobeefwithRIortheirproudpeople

SwampFightOner
We have quite a few blacks, and an unbelievable amount of spics. However, the areas most badly affected were mostly white, so YAYYYYYY, QUICK RELIEF! Providence got nothing worse than some flooded basements basically, so I'm not concerned

SwampFightOner
Apparently they also made one in Columbus, go check it out. Personally I'll never understand what's so great about it (it draws sometimes 100,000 people), but usually I'll check it out when I'm dating a new girl, and it's OK as a once in a great while kind of thing
