i have posted these some time ago, but I think that was before the oontz crash way back sometime.....

1980 Columbia BMX RACE CERTIFIED 24'' Cruiser..... all original and needed a home.

i gave it one. I have never seen another in person, only on bmxmuseum.com....that one was the same but gold instead of chrome.... the paint is black with gold flecks....got it for 25$c9ff1249.jpg

This is the bike I always wanted growing up 1996 Dyno Compe, the exact one! This bike was absolutely flawless when I scored it off some mom in the suburbs of Ft. Worth Tx for 60$

1227575574.jpgbroke it down and built it back up, all i changed was the grips... couldnt find some NOS that suited my needs.....besides I didnt give a fuck bout matching when I was 12....shouldnt now.lol

Specs list for the 24...? Please.

was this directed at me?

all american parts. Columbia brand everything.....this must have been a dept store BMX cruiser, I can only find one thing on the internet even relating to Columbia BMX racing...

I have seen a fair share of "freestyle" Columbias but they aint nothing special....

RANDOM PICTURES OFF THE NET-

RANDOM IRON CHEF RANT/THOUGHTS-

the funny original goose-neck days with the snap on leather pads.

*Rusted snaps!!!Mongoose putting the sticker on the top tube where the pad goes.

*Later dropping it down, Thank god.

Ashtabula Forks FTW?

that seat having the METAL plackard on the back saying MONGOOSE. (Coolness)

motomag.jpg

*NOT IN PICTURE BUT STILL-

And how about the NYLON chainrings back then!

when all the COLORS were way too "FUN"

AND THINKING YOU WERE COOL BY ROUTING YOUR REAR BRAKE CABLE THROUGH YOUR GUSSET (COOL), LATER TO FIND OUT IT CUTS INTO THE OUTER JACKET, (NOT COOL)
