I agree,after a while it does get silly,but the problem is that when these books get made alot of pieces and writers that should be documented get left out.The fame aspect of graffiti has fucked it all up,so now you get a book filled up with an authors subjective view of what he feels should go in the book instead of just telling it like it really was and is.So you end up reading about the same dudes over and over again.Hopefully in the near future will see and read books from authors that do serious research,instead of just shouting out their boys and proping up the crews that they belong to."GRAFFITI KINGS" is one of the best books i've read so far.

pretty sure the "History of American Graffiti" is going to be an epic book and very far from what was mentioned above. 400 pages... and not just focusing on new york or LA... its from the same dude that brought us "Freight Train Graffiti".... guy knows his history..
